Jersey Boys' Mourning


We have lost a cast member of our latest expansion in Las Vegas. Please join my family in prayer and condolences to the Altieri family in their time of loss of John. Those who knew him personally and our extended Jersey Boys family members will not forget him.

In these times of great success for Jersey Boys, full of individual and collective commitment and sacrifice we discover how the story we tell each day reminds us just how precious life and family is. Thank you for the opportunity you give as theatergoers for artists like us to share and give back a part of life itself.

For all who have lost someone precious along the way, God bless you.

Beautifully said, Christian. John was unfortunately taken in his prime, "when it was all still ahead of him." But, as Frankie says in the ending monologue, "that was the best". Having loving, family, friends, fans, and caring colleagues like yourself indeed did give John "the best." Rest in peace, John.

It is at times like these when just words will not suffice; I am reminded of a song by Lee Ann Womack..."I Hope You Dance".

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance...
Never settle for the path of least resistance...
Living might mean taking chances...
But they're worth taking...

And when you get the chance to dance or sit it out...
I hope you dance.

This a poignant tribute to an obviously deserving young man. "You take care of family," a line that resonnates from JB, onstage and offstage. Christian, you remind us to revere and honor the life we lead, and remember those around us who shape who we are...and then you thank US for supporting artists like YOU! It is nice to be appreciated:), and of course the whole JB family is always so supportive. Thank you for the kind blessing in your closing comments. As someone who lost a beloved mother over ten years ago, this is always a difficult day. I do hope your wife had a lovely day. Blessings, Lulu
