Hello friends, family and visitors to the Christian Hoff BLOG. It is great to see how the site continues to grow! Thanks to the team for keeping up to date.

Thank you all for your influx of emails, guestbook signing and fan-mail. I cannot tell you how overwhelmed I am by your encouragement and enthusiasm. Thank you too for your patience as I begin a balanced transition from a more private life to a public one. My faith, my family - wife and children as you may know, are most important to me. My work and career are next. Stay tuned. I look forward to sharing with you the possibilities as they come into play.

Thank you for honoring me with your support and interest. I am taking it one step at a time but the course is set. God bless you and your families.

See you at the theatre.

The evening, presented by Donnie Kehr (who created "Rockers on Broadway"), Peter Gregus and Good to Go Entertainment, was a benefit for Broadway Bares/Equity Fights AIDS. "Rockers On Broadway was originally inspired by Pete Townshend during the Broadway run of The Who's Tommy.

Original cast of Tommy - Donnie Kehr, Christian Hoff and Anthony Barille.

Pete wanted to give musical theatre performers the opportunity to experience the feeling of singing with a rock band in a concert style venue, so they could understand and transfer the rawness of that edge to the stage," state press notes. This year’s show also featured Kehr, Clarke Thorell, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer, Des McAnuff, Tituss Burgess, Micky Dolenz, and more.

BROADWAY BARKS 8!

Broadway's biggest animal lovers will reconvene for "Broadway Barks 8," a star-studded dog- and cat-adopt-a-thon benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies.

Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters will host Saturday's event, which takes place July 8th from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Also expected on hand are Lucie Arnaz, Maxwell Caulfield, Victoria Clark, Georgia Engel, Eden Espinosa, Christian Hoff, Cherry Jones, Carol Kane, Wendie Malick, among others.

"BB8" is intended to help New York City's shelter animals find permanent homes by informing New Yorkers about the plight of uncared-for cats and dogs. Last year's event was, to paraphrase a song from "Wicked," paw-pular, with an audience of more than 6,000 and featured the participation of more than 24 animal shelters.

The event will also feature an auction of celebrity-autographed memorabilia. For more information, call 212-840-0770 or visit www.broadwaybarks.com.
