Audiobook Launched and Orbiting!

Hello friends and fans, just had a launch party for an audio book I recorded.

It turns out, I have set a new world record for character voices in the process. Who knew? Well, we did, once we counted I guess.

Here are some links for you:

Comments:
Christian, I have listened to the audiobook twice now. I obtained it thinking I'd just hear your 241 voices, which are amazing, but I was treated to a wonderful story as well. It took me through my life (basically the last half-century) starting with the genesis of the title: Spyros Skouras asking Ed "Tell Me How You Loved the Picture" about "All About Eve", my mother's favorite movie ever. He went on to Ray Stark on casting Streisand as Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl", noting that Brice was somewhat "homely". As Streisand came out on stage 40+ years ago, I can clearly hear my father announcing "Ya know, when they make her up, she doesn't look all that bad!" The stories and your voices go on and on into the current era, with Jim Belushi (trashing Ed's office), Jim Carrey's wife insisting on a jet, Eddie Murphy, Mel Gibson, Glenn Close, and Harrison Ford. But the best one of all is how Ed married the "girl next door", his wife of 53 years, Lorraine. Trying to decide your best "voice"--Bette Davis, Cary Grant, or John Huston (certainly the saltiest language of all). And I know now exactly "what a producer does"--and one thing he does not do is put his own money into a project!! Gotta have a long talk with the producer in whose projects I've just invested!! Job well done, Christian and Ed. Bravo! Good luck, Howard.

Christian, I have the audio book in hand and can't wait to hear you bring an hilarious book to even bigger "life". I can't think of a better way to spend an hour a day than listening to you tell me a story :)

Catherine (Barton) Sanneman

PS The launch party was fantastic. Congratulations! You are a true gentleman and a truly genuine person. You have made me a fan for life!
